Industrial Training – II should be taken up at the end of IV semester, preferably in underground coal mines. Relevant information pertaining to the development and extraction of coal by underground mining methods, details of different equipment working in the mines and their operational information, layouts and other techno- economic data, information regarding safety aspects, manpower, production and productivity, management practices and environmental protection measures should be included.
